More Information: EPIL is the cooperation of Iranian technical universities, research institutes and manufacturers of electrical equipment, i.e. Power and measuring transformers, switchgear and control gear etc. The aim of EPIL is to establish comprehensive laboratories for testing of the electrical products and equipment produced in Iran and issuing certificates and conformity reports according to the national and international standards. It was established in the beginning of the year 2000, by investment and partnership of universities, electrical industry manufacturers and other companies to offer following services:
• Test and inspection services (Type, Sample, Routine and Special Tests) for electrical and electronic equipment
• Calibration services for electrical equipment
• Product quality control and assurance of compliance based on international criterion (EPIL COR)
• Integrating conformity assessment services for testing Import/Export products and attaining confident of their qualities
• Research, development and consulting activities for product quality improvements in order to reduce losses, increasing efficiency and reducing their total cost
