More Information: Iran Zinc Mines Development Company (LLP) was established according to Article 29 of the Budget Law of Iran 1997 and in order to implement the development projects of zinc industry.
The Steering Committee was formed by the Ministry of Mines and Metals at the time In January 1997 and practically the efforts and works started for establishment of a public limited company in order to create new capacities in zinc industry by 100000 tons. With the participation of 27 national and regional institutions as the Board of Founders and obtaining the approval from the Companies Registration Office of Zanjan in February 10, 1998, the shares of this company were offered to the public.
Activities:
According to Article 3 of the Statute of Iran Zinc Mines Development Company (LLP), activities of this company includes the following items:
– Establishment of zinc extraction plants on Iran’s mines.
– Investment and participation in zinc production plants.
– Discovery, extraction, exploitation, production, and concentration of minerals.
– Imports of the required machinery, equipment, materials, and spare parts from other countries or providing them from domestic suppliers.
– Participation in other companies through establishment or commitment to purchase their shares and also purchasing or pledging the shares of the existing companies in the fields of manufacturing, industrial, engineering design, research and studies, services, and other areas that are somehow associated with above-mentioned activities.
– Providing technical, consulting, and industrial services and sales and distribution of domestic or imported products.
– Doing all the industrial operations, financial transactions, obtaining credit and loans from banks, exports and imports of authorized commercial goods, obtaining the representation from other domestic and foreign companies or granting the representation, conduction of commercial operations mentioned in Commercial Code and other laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran that seem to be directly or indirectly in line with the objectives and policies of Iran Zinc Mines Development Company.
