More Information: Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar Qawanlu, nicknamed Kashifa al-Saltanah and known as Chaikar, was a man of the Qajar and Pahlavi period. He was the first person to popularize tea cultivation in Iran and for this reason he is called the "father of Iranian tea".
In 1313 AH / 1274 AH / 1895 AD, Haj Mohammad Mirza, at the age of thirty, married Ms. Gohar Granmayeh and was appointed Consul General of Iran in India by the order of Mirza Mohsen Khan Mushir Al-Dowleh. Because the plague had spread to India that year, he stopped in Karbala for a while and studied English with his teacher. After a short stay in Mumbai, he went to the summer residence of political delegations in the Simla region of the Himalayas, where he studied tea cultivation. He then traveled to the tea-growing regions of India and, while observing the tea cultivation and industry, completed his studies and obtained a certificate. While he was achieving this, the tea industry was monopolized and it was not allowed to teach it to the people of other Eastern countries. Hence, he inevitably concealed his identity and studied at the British Institute as a French businessman. He also experienced tea cultivation on a farm.
Before returning to Iran, Haj Mohammad Mirza prepared some tea seeds along with four thousand pots of tea, coffee, hemp seeds, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, cardamom, mango, quince, camphor, turmeric root, ginger, etc. and in The year 1385 AH brought them to Iran with many problems.
We have also preserved the honors of the past as a precious door and we have always tried to make the most exquisite and best teas that have a natural color, a pleasant taste, a refreshing aroma, a pleasant and low quality dessert. Peer brought to you and a host worthy of the admiration of your warm circles.
