More Information: ZOUCHAN Copper Industrial is the first plant in Iran producing a variety of copper alloys sections and profiles utilizing the most modern technology in the world, and based on international standards.
we are able to produce a wide range of copper-alloys, from low alloy copper to all kinds of brass, phosphor bronze, aluminum bronze and complex alloys.
Our activities include casting, hot working, cold working and machining processes.
Horizontal continuous casting line permits production of a variety of rods, tubes and hexagonal. For bronze, this is usually end of process. However, in many cases, mostly for brasses, these products are raw material for further processes. Like extrusion and cold drawing to be converted to various profiles and smaller sections.
In recent years, method of horizontal continuous casting has found many applications to produce solid and hollow sections with more than 15mm in diameter. Now and in future, this method will be the basic way to produce semifinished non-ferrous alloys.
Surface quality of continuous casting products is comparable with rough machined part, and because of controlled solidification conditions, continuous casting products lack any shrinkage defects, and have very fine, uniform and compact structure. Thus strength properties would have a significant improvement in comparison with other casting methods for each certain alloy.
