(Public Joint-Stock) was registered under title of Iran Yasa Production and Industrial Factories under permit No. 11051, in Department for Registration of Companies and Industrial Ownership of Tehran in Nov. 1968. Its name was changed to IRAN YASA TIRE & RUBBER Co. (Private Joint-Stock) in May.1973. According to decision made in Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders, status of Company was changed from Private Joint-Stock to Public Joint-Stock on Nov.15, 1995. This Company was accepted as a member in Securities and Exchange Organization as of Aug.24, 2003.
The Head Office of company is located at 3rd Km. of Shahriar Road, Fath Highway, Tehran, Iran, in a land measuring 165,000, and according to Articles of Association, main activities of company include: to supply and produce every types of tire and tube for bicycle, motorcycle, scooter and other rubber productions and to sell the said products in Iran or abroad.
IRAN YASA Co. which began its activity by manufacturing 1000 tons per year, presently, in the result of increasing the productivity, managers planning, and effort of more than of its 11000 personnel, by manufacturing approximately 17 million pieces of various types of motorcycle, bicycle, and scooter's tire, and tube passed its nominal capacity and achieved 18000 tones of production per year. Accessing to high technology and skill for production of tire and tube for new generation agricultural machines and motorcycles is another experience and achievement of company at this period.
