More Information: Due to the existing demand and the huge needs of those involved in the livestock and poultry industry due to the use of non-standard products, the need to prepare di calcium phosphate in accordance with international standards and the construction of a production plant using the latest technology in Iran has been a necessary step.
The founders of Iran Phosphate Company started the initial studies for the creation of this industry in a regular and codified manner in 1987, and after obtaining the agreement in principle from the Ministry of Industries and Mines, Iran Phosphate Company (Private Joint Stock Company - 100% Private) at the beginning of 1990 to produce Dicalcium phosphate with a capacity of 400,000 tons per year (which was imported until then) was established and started the project from the same year.
Thus, the dicalcium phosphate production project has been implemented for the first time in Iran and its operation, which started at the beginning of 1999, is the result of 9 years of unremitting efforts and about 40 billion rials of investment (including 5.4 million pounds). Sterling is the cost of currency).
Considering the very important and fundamental role of phosphorus and calcium in the physiological processes and metabolism of livestock and poultry, and that the lack or increase of these elements in their diet cause many deadly complications and abnormalities, and finally due to the close relationship that There is a connection between phosphorus and calcium in the body, and the logical exchange between them that is necessary to absorb both elements, the preparation of these substances requires a special process and special expertise. Therefore, consumers of dicalcium phosphate should be very sensitive to the desired quality, because a substance may have enough phosphorus and calcium, but the associated toxic agents have anti-nutritional properties in livestock and poultry. The use of low quality and undesirable phosphorus sources in chicken flocks is very harmful and wrong because the impurities of this type of phosphorus sources cause toxicity and complications in bone metabolism and kidney and liver function of birds.
