More Information: Pakdaman Lahiji, Hormoz who was the founder of cookie industry started his work by producing and selling traditional cookies in a store from 1950. Then, following the consumers' interest, Pakdaman made preparations for the establishment of cookie manufacturing plant. In 1956, he applied to register "Naderianfard" company and choose Stag logo as well as Naderi, which is now very famous in international market, as its trademark. Over time, with developments in science and technology, the company was equipped with the most high-tech facilities and machineries. At the present, Naderi food industry has founded and registered five manufacturing companies and distributing centers including (1) Naderianfard, (2) NeginNab, (3) NeginNaderi Industrial Group, (4) Shomal NeginNader Company, and (5) Naderi distributing company. Acquiring a considerable reputation among other Iranian food industries, the company extended the scope of its manufacture to 262 items such as different kinds of cookies, cakes, biscuits, wafers, chocolates, bulky grains, tea, and rice distributed throughout the country using a variety of packaging. All of the subsidiary companies have got the license to manufacture and use the products and obtained national and international standards such as ISO 9001-2009, ISO 22000, and HACCP certifications. They also export their products widely. In 2010 and 2016, Negin Naderi Industrial Group being known internationally, was selected as the best exporter of the country and Guilan province, respectively and promoted and appreciated by national and regional authorities. It is noteworthy that the main reason behind such activities is to use the material and spiritual potentials and abilities to develop cookie manufacturing industry, the origin of which is in the city of Lahijan, and to employ the individuals to achieve the government's goals. Today, above 800 educated workforce are employed in Naderis' companies and around 2500 individuals are gaining their livelihood working there .
